Thank You + “Dear Mama” by Amy Blount

Dear everyone,

We hope to thank everyone of you, who shared experiences, words of encouragement and prayed for us, especially my sister and brother-in-law, from the bottom of our hearts.

I’d like to share as well a poem written by Amy Blount | A New Life. She has several heartfelt articles, please check out her blog and follow her, if not yet.

Dear Mama,

I can see you all of the time. I can see your tears, feel your pain as if it were mine.

Mama I never meant to make you cry. Sobbing, shaking asking God why.

Mama, never was it your fault. Let out the shame and regret from your vault.

The banquet table is spread. He is sitting at the head.

Don’t worry mama, we’re waiting for you to dine. To share with me eternal life divine.

Mama, of you, there’s only one thing I ask. Mama, all your life make this your task.

Mama, do justly, seek mercy and walk humbly with thy God all your years. So that we can share heaven, where there will be no more tears.

For all of you mama’s with a child, young or old in heaven.

I’m sure you were as moved as we were with this beautiful poem by Amy.
